I’m a born and raised Canadian, so you’ll often find me saying things like touque, garburator or eh’, but the midwest is quickly becoming home. My husband and I have been married for 6 years now and It has been the most incredible adventure. My mind is blown that this is only the beginning. Most nights I’m cozied up on the couch with some ice cream binge watching The Office, New Girl or Criminal Minds. I’m really easy going and all about keeping it real.
One big point about me is that I love Jesus. There’s no hiding it. But don’t let my Jesus loving fool you, I accept everyone here. There is more than enough love to go around and I do not discriminate based on your background. God loved us first so we could love others.

I'm learning ASL! I'm not fluent yet, but that's the goal! I'm always
looking at how I can be more inclusive, and ASL caught my attention. It's so expressive and practical. I've been learning for about 2 months now!
Lane is actually my middle name. I was named after my mom who's name is also Lane, but my mom was named after Lois Lane since my Papa was such a big Superman fan! I also gave my daugher the middle name Lane too!
I've been photographing weddings for 9 years now! I stated second shooting and learning the ropes in 2017 and started my business up in 2018. There have been plenty of ups and downs but I absolutely love what I do!
My husband and I met in New Zealand! It was the best time of my life & I wish we could go back soon!
Every Summer for as long as I can remember, I would go on 3-4 day long canoe trip with my family down the North Saskatchewan River. We'd take on rapids & survived hail storms. It's probably the thing I miss most about home!
